New cities added to regional meeting schedule

This fall, the Greater Minnesota Partnership has been hosting a series of regional meetings around the state to gather input from business leaders, economic development professionals and local and state government officials about their priorities and needs in regards to infrastructure, business incentives, tax policies and other issues affecting economic growth in their communities. Meetings were already held in Granite Falls, Thief River Falls, Bemidji, Baxter, Red Wing and Worthington. We have now added three more cities to our schedule:

  • Tuesday, Nov. 19: 10 a.m.-noon at the Intergovernmental Center in Mankato (10 Civic Center Plaza)
  • Tuesday, Dec. 3: 2-4 p.m. at West Central Initiative in Fergus Falls (1000 Western Ave.)
  • Wednesday, Dec. 4: 1-3 p.m. at Virginia City Hall (City Council Chambers – 327 First St. S)

At the meetings, Executive Director Dan Dorman will provide information about the Partnership and gather feedback that will be used to help determine its legislative priorities for the upcoming 2014 session. The meetings are open to everyone — please  join the discussion to help spur economic growth in Greater Minnesota!
