GMNP to sponsor broadband conference

The GMNP is sponsoring the Blandin Foundation’s Border to Border Broadband: A Call to Action conference Feb. 4-5 at the St. Paul RiverCentre. This event provides an opportunity to learn what you need to know about community broadband initiatives. Attendees will have opportunities to hear speakers and participate in sessions on a range of topics organized into four tracks: broadband infrastructure development, digital inclusion, business and economic development, and applications.

For those new to broadband initiatives and those seeking to broaden their approach, a special pre-conference session at 1 p.m. on Feb. 4 will provide an overview of the necessary components of a successful community broadband program. This interactive session will provide a roadmap for communities to increase both access to and use of broadband.
